As of November 2017, the CSSMA's reach extends to 4 Canadian provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Hence, in the 2017-2018 school year, the Math Stars Competition Series will only be offered in the four provinces named above. Regional competitions will be hosted in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Toronto, and likely Edmonton as well.
The following links all lead to events that have already taken place in previous year(s). Registration for the 2017/2018 school year's Math Stars competitions will open shortly.
Unfortunately, the CSSMA cannot provide any travel funding to schools from outlying regions coming to each regional competition, so participants will need to fundraise locally. Possible sources of support can include local school boards, engineering firms, community service groups, etc.
Travelling to the Regional Competition
Participants who are coming from outside the region which the contest is being held in and planning to stay overnight should book their accommodations in that region as soon as possible (after the competition details for each Regional Competition has been finalized), if they have not already done so. The Math Stars Competition Series Competition Organizing Committee for each Regional Competition is currently unable to help arrange accommodations for participating teams.
